Day #5 of inspiration

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (I Corinthians 10:31 NKJV)

Okay we know by now that God loves us, forgives us of your sins and as we are truly saved He has given us the power of the Holy Spirit to abide in us that we may act according to the will God!
Here, Paul is telling a us that in all we do it should be only to glorify our Lord! That others may see Jesus thru us, that they may be saved!
So in all you do, in all your words, motives, joys or unglued moments, stop and ask-What is the best way I can Glorify my Lord today?!

Day #4 of inspiration

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1 NKJV)

Study Romans 8!
This one is for me! Truth is this is something I was needing to read! Learning to die to the worldly flesh and allow the Holy Spirit work thru me! I know that I'm am the temple I have opened the door and allowed the Holy Spirit to abide in my heart, now allow the Spirit to have control, allow him to work in and thru me for the Glory of God! Learning to let go and allow God to have control in all my actions, thoughts and words! Yes, this is where I struggle and that's why this is for me, to help me, to give the Spirit full reign in my life! Why? Cause I want to walk with Jesus in every area of my life!
My prayer is sister that you too, will study this and will be moved and understand how blessed are we that walk according to the Holy Spirit!
And I'm learning that letting go of the flesh ain't all that easy and I wanted someone to tell me how! Sister, He is showing me how - the answer to that is- study study study HIS WORD and seek Him in Prayer!

"Abide in my heart"- abide is a verb, notice I said abide not just "came into my heart" I allow the spirit to abide in my, so that I may act according to the will of the Holy Spirit. I don't want to just invite the spirit in and then to be still, I want to live for Him!

Day #3 of inspiration

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Study the book of Philippians! Here you will see that Paul believed, obeyed and trusted in God! He knew no matter what he faced no matter what he had or didn't have, he would be content, cause he knew that your loving forgiving Father would always care for his needs! Remember sisters we are here to serve Him, love Him, fellowship with Him so rest assured that He will supply all your needs!
He Loves you!

Day #2 of inspiration

Day #2

For as the heavens are high above the earth, So  great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So  far has He  removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:11, 12 NKJV)

Sisters lift your heads up. When we allowthe Holy Spirit to enter our hearts and confess we were sinners and accept Christ as our Savior our sins are wiped clean, no trace left behind, no smudges for Him to throw back in our face, those sins are forgiven,  removed! Why? Because He loves you! And Jesus died for you and covered your sins with His blood! And now sisters He sits there by His father and awaits for you to spend eternity with Him!       Will you choose to spend eternity with Him?

Today sisters remember, you are loved and forgiven, so live for Him in all you do with a pure heart!

14 Days of Inspiration

I don't know about you but I have been told that if you do something for two weeks it will become a habit. So I got to thinking, for two weeks , 14 days, why not seek Gods word, like we should be doing anyway, and just see how after 14 days of reading his word can change our lives. Just maybe in the next two weeks your emotions may change, may you be lifted up, just maybe you find a soul refreshment a true spiritual refreshment you have been needing and just maybe you will grow a hungar to continue to seek His word everyday!
So, starting today I'm giving you the first verse that came to me. Feel free to write it down, memorize it, share it with a friend and feel free to study it!!!
Here it is
Romans 8:39
Neither height nor depth nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate you from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sister seek the reality of this, remember this as you go through each day! He LOVES you!

Sisters in Christ!

Sisters in Christ
Sisters, let me start by saying, Thank you God for all the ladies you have placed in my path over the years. Some was just in passing, some where placed in my life for a season, some have been thru it all with me.
Each and everyone have left impressions on my life, I just thank you God, for each one and each lesson i have learned along the way.

But what put this on my heart? Let me begin by telling you, I teach a Ladies bible study on Sunday morning. Right now we are, verse by verse, studying the book of Esther by Beth Moore. It has been a awesome, eyeopening, study so far! There are times in this class that we cry together and laugh together. It's a place to confide in each other and know you Will be prayed for!!

This one particular morning, just lately, i got to my class room early (take note: this does not happen often with two girls in the house, one being a teenager) that I had time to myself to visit with my father above. As I sat there, I became so moved by each chair in that room and praying over each lady that sat in those chairs.I had just a sense of peace and joy come over me, in the thought of how special each of those ladies are to God and that we are sisters thru Christ.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:26 (KJV)
50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
 Matthew 12:50 (KJV)
I realize when we sat there together in that room and study His word, or when we talk or text each other thru the week of how blessed we are to have each other. We have a bond, O I know, we all have different ways, in our ages, our careers, in our emotions, some are fairly new to the word, and some have walked many miles with Him. But what a blessing to know that each of us is there for each other to laugh with, cry with, to share joys, our frustrations and yes, sisters, even confess our wrong doings that we may be healed and continue on the right path. Sisters, let me be the first to say, I FAIL! I fail everyday, from the wrongful thoughts in my head or the hurtful words I may say out of my fleshly mouth, I fail! I pray each day that I will make the choices that will glorify my Lord and I will learn from the last outburst I made that I should have stopped and gave it over to the Lord, cause I can not do anything without Christ Jesus! (Phil 4:13)
16 Confess your trespasses[a] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.James 5:16 (NKJV)

To walk with Christ on a daily basis together, to encourage each other to keep our focus on Him and seek His ways in all the areas of our lives.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  Colossians 3:16 (NKJV)
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.  Galatians 6:2 (NKJV)
Here, in Galatians, Paul tells us to bear one anther's burdens.
Are we to leave our sisters when she is hurting or straying from the narrow path??
No, we are to cry with her, mourn with her, lift her up in times when she doesn't even know how to pray.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.   Romans 12:15 (NKJV)

We are to uplift our sister and encourage her as she walks along the path that God has chosen for her,   no not the path He chose for you but for her,    we all have a calling to serve the Lord, and that is not always the same for each person. As a loving sister we need to seek and encourage our other sisters for what God has laid out for her in her life as well as our own calling!
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Ephesians 4:11-13 (NKJV)
You see how special each and everyone of us are to Him that loves us. God also tells us to love one another, yes sisters we are to love each other thru it all, joys, suffering and raw emotions( you know those days where even coffee don't help)! (John 13:34)
We are to come together sisters, to love the Lord, worship Him, seek Him and His will for your lives. We are to be united as one to be of the same mind (Phil 4:2) and that we are to be knitted together in love (Colossians 2:2) and that we bear each others burdens, that we forgive each other (Colossians 3:13-14).
Don't get me wrong, I not only have sisters in the bible class, but also thru out the church and some out of my church and they are all wonderful ladies. The day the Lord put this on my heart was in that little cozy four walled room, waiting for the ladies to fill those chairs, as I felt Him telling me how blessed we were  and how loved we are by Him. I sure hope you, that are reading this, can relate, what a blessing it is in this life to have sisters to share your love of the Lord with and to praise Him together!
All the earth shall worship You
And sing praises to You;
They shall sing praises to Your name.” Selah
Psalms 66:4 (NKJV)

Sisters, I pray that you love one another and that you are obediant to the ways of our Lord, loving others, forgiveing others and remain steadfast in the faith. Encourage one another to seek His ways and be honest to each other and honest to the Lord, take all things to Him, call upon Him!

Eyes upon Him! And Him alone!

and said:"O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You? (II chronicles 20:6 NKJV)

O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” (II Chronicles 20:12 NKJV)

And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (II Chronicles 20:15 NKJV)

But God's alone!!!!!
O how I needed this tonite! For this life , for this great multitude, that we face each and every day is not mine alone, it's GOD's!
All I have to remember is to put my eyes upon Him and remember that He is my father!

Thru the battle we may face, weather all around us or deep down inside us! It is God's and He is almighty and all powerful,
Place your eyes upon Him and Him alone!

I say this, so we may read it, speak it but are we living it?????
We (I) must not just know His word, we(I) must live it! So, starting now, we (I) must surrender to His mighty hand and truly give Him our (my) battles!

Use me

Dear Lord,
Thank you for the conformation that I needed from you. I have surrendered my life to you! Use me Lord for your ministry, give me the words to write and the words to say, give me a pure heart to love in your way.....
Amen

Pink Wings!

Just a cute little story of a wonderful piece of my life I would like to share with you! Something that I don't want to forget!

At the age of six years, my youngest walks in the door behind me one Wednesday night after church and says " mommy in the truck I asked God to come into my heart" ..... ( mommy moment here) .....
I stopped right there at the door turned around and asked her if she understood that and as she shook her head yes , we went and prayed together! Of course we told daddy and called up the preacher!! I sat there that night on my bed with this very serious little girl with her pink bible and went thru scripture in Romans and tried to make sure she knew and understood and yes I was confirmed she knew, she understood and she was saved that night on the way home! And she loves The Lord!
Well, a really cute part is still to come, that this mommy will always cherish! Few weeks later after some sickness, we finally had her baptism!!! Wonderful night! Family and friends come together to witness this moment that my daughter has followed the steps of Jesus and has proclaimed that she is a child of God! Amen!
We again arrive at home, me and daddy are talking of the night, and this little six year old brown eyed girl walks up to me out of no where and ask so seriously " mom, do you think that when I get to heaven God does know I want pink wings?" Oh how I loved it!!!! (With the cutest little look on her face, I'll never forget)
You know those little things in life that parents cherish in their hearts. The innocence and purity of a child's belief.
Just recently I have read "Heaven is for Real" by Lynn Vincent and Todd Burpo.
Awesome read, if you've never read it!! In this book his son speaks of how colorful heaven is, I couldn't help but think of those precious pink wings!
The best part of it someday, we will be there together rejoicing and praising our Lord, with pink wings? Who knows, we shall see.....

What are we up against?

Ephesians 6:10-13, Eph. 1:15-22
What she said hurt me....., why would he do that...., why did this happen? what did i do wrong?
Questions you ever have? Well, I have! Whether it is personal or what you have seen or heard on the news or in the newspaper or even on facebook. Ever wonder why some people do things of evil? Why your friend turned on you, or a coworker is just down right hateful to you especially when you try to show love or speak of your God?Do you wonder? I do. It hurts me to be treated harshly, or not listened to or to see others suffering. Why? How? Where does these things of this world come from?
Lately this keeps coming to my mind over and over. Until, I sat down and study this, it would not ease up. This is what I was reminded of, Epshesian 6:10-13 and Epshesian 1:15-22.
So, lets just give these verses some of our attention for awhile and just see what God has in store for us, I know I have found a peace after studying this and I know there has to be others out there that ask the same questions I have been.
Epshesian 6:10-13 (NKJV) 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ok, so what are we up against? Principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, yes Satan! This is the answer to all those questions. This is the evil force that is out to not only destroy God's Church, but to destroy each individual who seeks after the will of God. This evil finds its way thru human flesh that allows him (satan) the use of there own personal bodies to hurt others. Yes, from the whispering words of the coworkers to news reporting that we have lost prayer in school, the ten commandments being taken from a court house, o sisters I could go on and on with how the devil has been allowed to work in this world! But the point of this is, yes sister that's right, it is satan that we are up against, not the flesh and blood that stands before us!
So, what are we to do when this hurts our soul, when it angers us or we feel confused?
We must first know, we are not against the flesh and blood, but the darkness that is ruling it. Second, know who has overcome that darkness.....
Ephesians 1: 20-21(NKJV) 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

Third, He tells us to put on the armour of God!
Ephesians 6:13-18(NKJV) 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
To protect ourselves of these evil, hurtful ways of satan. Yes, God has showed us away, cause He knew we would face these things and being the loving God He is, He has gave us away to have comfort!
I am to put my Armour on EVERY DAY!
My Breastplate- Righteousness, know God loves me and I have been forgiven. I am His. My heart belongs to Him, don't let satan get to your heart, remind him(satan) every day that you are Gods and you are going to live for Him!
My Footgear- I am to spread Gods word and love even when satan trys to put doubt and fear into my mind. I am to walk for God every day and every where I may be,(that means even at work not just at church). Don't let the things of this world stand in your way, step over them with the footgear of Jesus! Keep on walkin'!
My Shield- Faith- remember Jesus has already won the battle. Seek Gods Way in every situation and rest assured that Gods will, will be done! Keep a Focus on Him. Sister surround yourself in His word!
My Helmet- Salvation- do not let satan bring doubt to your mind. Cherish that moment in your heart of when you let the holy spirit in and you let God change your life at that very moment. Know that he(satan) can not pluck you out of Gods hand (John 10:29).Sister, when you feel that doubt entering in, call upon His name, JESUS!
Sword- B I B L E, yes that's the book for me! Need I say more!!! Read it, study it, seek Gods word in every emotion you have, every situation you face, every tribulation that does and will rise in your life, be able to stand against the temptation, doubt, tribulations, false prophets. Yes sister, you will face these things. Yes sister, rest assured God knew that then and now and He has provided away for us in this world! Seek Him, Hunger for Him, Trust in Him, and Talk to Him!
Colossians 2:15(NKJV) Having disarmed principalities and powers. He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
Yes Sister Jesus has Won the battle, so when you are up against these things, remember where they came from, make sure you are wearing your Armour and know Christ has Won!

Lift up our hearts!

O Lord, lift up our hearts!
Study the book of Philippains

Seems everywhere you look or every time you turn on the news, there is something that brings tears to our eyes and burdens on our hearts. From school shootings, drunk drivers, suicides, divorce, abuse, cancer, to devastated weather events, the list can go on and on.
Lately, it seems here, where I live we have suffered loss of several people. Not one of them do I count any less than the other, but it seems we have lost several of our young adults and children lately. The other day as I was at work and receiving calls of the news that our community had just lost another child, all I could think was, O Lord, just lift up our hearts! We have had so much pain lately. I can’t even begin to imagine how a grieving parent feels of losing a child, but I do know the whole community hurts when a tragedy of this sort happens. All of our hearts ache, especially our children and that’s even harder on us parents and teachers to see our children mourn over another friend!

Please O Lord, lift up our hearts!

I set and think about all the heart breaking actions going on around me. From suffering marriages, businesses going bankrupt and unemployment to seeing children being passed around from home to home, to a couple who aches to have a child, or single mother who gives in to the world cause the weight on her shoulders are so heavy for her to carry alone, to another life diagnosed with cancer. It just hurts my heart!

O Lord, lift up our hearts!

We must remember sisters, yes the Lord is still in control and we are to seek Him in all things (Luke12:31). We are to be like Paul in Philippians, one of my favorite books of the bible. Paul, being transformed into a great witness for Christ, he suffered a great loss. In Philippians he gave thanks to the believers in Philippi for seeking to his needs. He writes to the church to seek God and be of unity. We see that Paul counts of the things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:8 (NKJV) 8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

Paul may have suffered many things while he was seeking after the Lords work, but you see, he knows he gained so much more.

With all the suffering he may have endured, just like us when we look around at all the sadness on this earth, Paul continued to press toward the goal, just like we should each and everyday. You see Paul knew and we should understand also, that if you are a born again believer of Christ Jesus my Lord, sister you have gained so much more than this world will ever provide for you! You have so much more to celebrate in this place of suffering!

Philippians 3:13-14 (NKJV) Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended: but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

We may see sadness, or even experience it ourselves, but sister, hang on don’t look back, lift up your heart and press forward because we have a loving God!

Philippians 4:4-7 (NKJV) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 16 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know to God: 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

All I can say is Thank you Jesus! I am able at the end of the day through a heartache, disappointment and fear of what this world is coming to, I know that I am able to find peace in my Savior. He will still be here for me no matter what I face through out my day. He lifts up my heart!

Finally sisters, to the part I could not wait to get to. The verses that I have read many times to get thru a tuff day of hurt feelings, let downs, and discouragement. As I sat here wondering what am I to say to those that are just worn out from a day at work or to a heart broke parent. I recall this…

Philippians 4:8-9 (NKJV) 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do and the God of peace will be with you.

I want you to know sisters that I seek to write what the Lord lays on my heart not only to help another sister but for Him to speak to me also. He knows my heart and what I need to hear and study, that I may walk for Him the way he desires me to. I am not a bible scholar, just a sister in Christ that hungers to know him and to do his will. I desire to know him on a deeper level and writing what I feel seems to help me learn what God is trying to tell me. So sisters my prayer is, is that you will use these verses in your life everyday and that your heart will be lifted up no matter what you may face.
